As of now, four teams do not have a mascot, namely the Los Angeles Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, and Golden State Warriors.

On the shorts, the full team name shaped into a triangle was a nod to the early 1960s logo, and the current "L" alternate logo on the waist was a nod to the Kobe Bryant era.
