So I went to another shop my cousin usually go, 5 stars on google reviews. there was only 1 young guy running the place that day, he scratched my front bumper and the leather at the back of the front seat, tire pressure all over the place. I don't trust young mechanics, they need experienced mentor to look after them.
I couldn't find any independent reviews. You would definitely want to read the fine print on this one. The insurance company would never make money off of her unless she past 100 (literally). I would double check about pre-existing conditions and how long that rate is locked in for.

Reybestos, spot tech/centric are good inexpensive brands I have some experience with. Stop tech street pads have received positive reviews but I haven't tried that variant, just the next step up "sport" pads. There is also the option to buy OEM pads again.
