NBA 2K9 is a 2008 basketball simulation video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K. It is the tenth installment in the NBA 2K franchise and the successor to NBA 2K8 . It was released in 2008 for the PlayStation 2 , PlayStation 3 , Xbox 360 , and Microsoft Windows .
