Bernards Township (/ ˈ b ɜːr n ər d z / [22]) is a township in Somerset County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 27,830, [9] [10] an increase of 1,178 (+4.4%) from the 2010 census count of 26,652, [23] [24] reflecting an increase of 2,077 (+8.5%) from the 24,575 counted in the 2000 census.
