Anarcho-punk (also known as anarchist punk [1] or peace punk [2]) is an ideological subgenre of punk rock that promotes anarchism.Some use the term broadly to refer to any punk music with anarchist lyrical content, which may figure in crust punk, hardcore punk, folk punk, and other styles.
Profane Existence is a Minneapolis-based [1] anarcho-punk collective. Established in 1989, [2] the collective publishes a nationally known [3] zine (also called Profane Existence), as well as releasing and distributing anarcho-punk, crust, and grindcore music, [4] and printing and publishing pamphlets and literature.
Feminazgûl was founded by Margaret Killjoy, a transgender anarchist author, in 2018. [1] They created the band's debut EP, The Age of Men Is Over, as a solo project the same year. [2] The band was also included in the 2018 Worldwide Organization of Metalheads Against Nazis (W.O.M.A.N.) compilation album.
In 2002, the band released a holiday album entitled Holiday Harmony. America's album Back Pages was released on 26 July 2011. The group was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in February 2012. America's most recent album, Lost & Found, was officially released 5 May 2015, containing unreleased tracks recorded between 2002 and 2010. [6]

As of 2022, Kowalczyk is the only remaining member of the original lineup.
