A Bachelor of Design (BDes or B.Design) degree is usually an undergraduate degree in the field of design awarded for a course or major that generally lasts three or four years. It is the undergraduate equivalent of the Master of Design , MDes.
The graphic design program has won more than 130 industry awards since September 2009, including three students to Watch in Graphic Design USA. MAD Dragon Records, the student-run record label that is part of the Music Industry program, has been named college label of the year twice by the Independent Music Awards (2007, 2008).

The school began granting Bachelor's and Master's degrees in arts in 1949, and was fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges in 1955. In 1965, the school changed its name to Art Center College of Design. The school expanded its programs, including a film program in 1973.
Offering bachelor's and master's degree programs encompassing design, visual arts, decorative arts, art history, and critical theory, KCAD is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, and the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Sessions College now enrolls approximately 773 students [3] in associate degree and certificate programs in subjects including graphic design, web design, digital media, illustration, advertising design, digital photography, and fine arts. In 2017, Sessions was included on Graphic Design USA's list of Top Graphic Design Schools. [4]
