1 Wuxi, China, was originally selected to host the 2021 World Taekwondo Championships. Due to the impact of the Global COVID-19 pandemic, Wuxi gave up hosting the World Taekwondo Championship. In Early 2022, Guadalajara, Mexico was selected as a replacement host and the 2025 championship was scheduled to be held in Wuxi, China, instead.

USA Taekwondo (USAT) is the national governing body (NGB) of Taekwondo for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and thus the United States' official Member National Association of World Taekwondo [1] USAT has complete authority over all decisions regarding US national junior and senior team selections for World Taekwondo events, including the Summer Olympic Games Taekwondo competition event.
She won the open qualification tournament for the 2022 World Taekwondo Grand Slam Champions Series in Wuxi in March 2023 in the -57 kg category. [4] In June of that year, she won a silver medal at the 2023 European Games in Kraków where she was beaten in the final by Jade Jones of Great Britain.
