Game Show Network Schedule « Reply #5 on: February 26, 2007, 10:28:20 PM » Two runs of Pyramid (which I assume hadn't been rerun abused to death at the time) and TTTT every day is all I need to prefer 2000 over 2007.

I recently found a GSN schedule from during the Dark Period, Feb 1998, but does anyone have the GSN schedule (both weekday and weekend), as it was when the dark period ended (around April 1998)? I believe it began with Child's Play, Beat the Clock and Card Sharks on a Saturday. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

GSN's schedule was wonderful up to midnight on October 11, 1997. This was the start of the dark period, in which, as most of us know, they lost the rights to the G-T library, save for FF94 and TPiR. When the G-T library returned on April 18, 1998, the channel was never the same again.

Star Search reruns move to 9 a.m. (M-F), replacing Let's Make a Deal and the early Family Feud, which both drop off the schedule. Todd Newton's Hollywood Showdown, which Sande Stewart produced for Game Show Network and PAX in 2000-01, returns in the 10 a.m. weekday slot, replacing Wheel of Fortune, which remains as a weekend offering.

  10. The idea of GSN excited me tremendously when I first heard about it. And the for three years it was frustration over not having it on my cable company in either NJ or out at grad school in southern Ohio which had one of the worst selections and how I kept trying to make trades with people just to get me a batch of B/W WML and TTTT episodes and a few other things.
