Molly Stark Park is located in Nimishillen Township, Stark County, in northeastern Ohio. [20] It is the grounds of the former Molly Stark Hospital, which served as a tuberculosis sanatorium between 1929 and 1956 and as a general hospital and geriatric facility until 1995. [ 21 ]
In 1956, it began treating other patients and was renamed Molly Stark Hospital. The hospital closed in 1995. The buildings were bought by the Stark County Park District in 2009.
