Johnson as State Sunday School Superintendent who appointed Missionary Lucille Cornelius to be Chairlady, the first woman to lead the supervision of COGIC women in the Sunday School Department.

The Christadelphian Sunday School Union (CSSU) is an organisation which provides lessons, books, magazines and other services for Christadelphian Sunday schools and youth groups.
