It's that, or you start experimenting running a LAN server. If you head that route, you can choose which players can use commands and which ones can't, and if that's not enough for you, then you could mess with a modified spigot server, and use world-guard, and a permissions pluggin to further add restrictions. Everyone says all you need to do to use commands or cheats is type /op USERNAME in the server to add your name to ops.json. I did that and I still don't have permission to use commands. Everything is in the ops.json the way they should be (uuid, level 4...). Commands still don't work. Please help?
Hello! I was just trying to start a new server on singleplayer mode and for some reason I can't use commands such as /tp or /gamemode. I have enabled cheats both when starting the new server and I also enabled cheats while activating the LAN mode, to no avail. I have also deleted two new worlds while trying to get commands to work.

Hello, I am developing a minecraft server (some of you may know from my previous posts) and I need to know how to make players have god mode in a certain radius of a command block and how to "ungod" them after they leave the radius. I know how to do god mode: /god [player], but is there a command or plugin to do it only in a certain radius?

I think he means the server console itself, not in-game lol. you just have to put "say" before whatever you want to say. Example: say Server is restarting, be right back! No / or anything just the word. You can also type a question mark (?) by itself in the console and it will show you a list of console commands.
I know theres some cool stuff for admins and players alike, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to let players use specefic commands (IE. /sethome, /spawn, /home, etc.) I have it working because me and whoever I op can use it, but how do I allow certain commands, while restricting others.
