Step 6: Go into Glorious Core settings and there is an option to check for updates. Once you click it, it should prompt you do download an update. This is the firmware update. For me it took 2 try's to download I doubt it should take more than 2-4 though. After the firmware is updated the sensor issues and debounce time not changing should be ...
Installation gets stuck at 50% and then I get “Firmware update failed .. The Model D- Wireless device appears to be disconnected” Mouse is connected wirelessly using the dongle, ran Glorious Core as admin, and disabled real time protection. None worked. Currently on v0.38.0

Using wayback machine I was able to copy and download from the old URL for 1.0.24. I'll provide that link here for anyone else who has had trouble. Extract the .zip file and install as an admin: This will make the Model D software run just fine! We appreciate your patience while we were working on the fastest resolution possible. Your support makes all this possible.
I got the glorious model d software and when I try to install the software for it, I get a popup from windows saying that it is from an unknown publisher. I know that this may seem silly, but it seems odd that glorious wouldn't be a known publisher from windows seeing as how large they are. Is it safe to download or am I downloading the wrong one?
I recently discovered a problem with my Glorious Model O that the mouse would basically turn off for around a second then work again which created this stutter effect while being used [the LED and power for the mouse still worked but not the sensor and the buttons], I came to the conclusion [after quite a bit of research] that it's probably a faulty mouse cable.
All it should take is some time, wireshark, and the glorious software though. I'd recommend changing all the options until you figure out the packet format, write a spec, then make a program to follow said spec, maybe contribute it to an existing mouse project (not mine, it was done mostly as a functional learning exercise)
Glorious, Glorious, Glorious... this is not glorious. In all seriousness, this should not be the case. I'm running the ´firmware version 0.3.8.0 pretty much ever since I got the mouse. Because the firmware update is not working for me. I click the "Retry Firmware Update" button, choose the Model D and it downloads the firmware.
