After the Acronis True Image upgrade from version 2019 to 2025, some archives continue to be stored in the old *.tib format and some - a minority - in the new *.tibx format. Restoring archives when the program is running is without issue for both archive versions.
Totally agree. I stopped using Acronis about three years ago, when they wanted a huge wedge of dosh to upgrade to later version (as the version I had had significant issues with UEFI pcs) when I had only bought a fairly expensive licence about 7 months previously.

This is usually due to errors on the source disk if the disks (not dynamic or GPT) are supported by the version of True Image you are using. Open an administrative command prompt from Windows 7 and run
Not sure this is the right sub forum to use. I have Acronis True Image 2019 running on some Windows 10 PCs. As support for Win 10 is soon ending, and ATI 2019 isn't compatible with Win 11, now seems like a good time to upgrade. I only buy perpetual licences, I don't rent software or want cloud storage.
Hello, we have "Acronis True Image for Western Digital". Trying to clone one disk (WD HDD) to another (new/unformatted WD SSD, same size). Default settings, automatic clone disk 1 -> disk 2 to "replace" (bootable). Tried several times, failed each time, says "see logs". I had rebooted in between some of the attempts. Demon log attached here.
