I have now bought Acronis True Image home 2009 full version and backed up and made a new boot disk but when I try to boot up to test it I get the message. Acronis True Image Home has detected unsupported hard disk drives. Acronis True Image home does not support Windows Dynamic Disks, EZ-Drives etc. I am running Windows XP home with service pack 3

Both computers were running Win10 OS. I have backups of my software from the old computer stored on Acronis Cloud. I have gone to the Acronis Cloud storage and downloaded Acronis True Image 2017. However it has been reinstalled onto my new computer as a "TRIAL" version. I have "KEYS" for all versions except for the 2017 "FREE" version.

The upgrade version has a normal Windows type installer. The upgrade version is a full version with the added install feature in that it checks to see if you have a previous version of TI installed. If you haven't uninstalled the previous version, you'll just need to enter your 2010 serial number.
After the Acronis True Image upgrade from version 2019 to 2025, some archives continue to be stored in the old *.tib format and some - a minority - in the new *.tibx format. Restoring archives when the program is running is without issue for both archive versions.

Larry, if you have setup automatic cleanup correctly, then it takes virtually no extra time to work, just the time needed to delete any qualifying complete version chain files from your backup drive and update the Acronis Database information for the backup task - this shows in the log file for the task as 'Consolidation'.
