Legacy Christian Academy is a private, non-denominational Christian elementary, middle, and college-preparatory school located in Frisco, Texas. Legacy's upper school (grades 9 – 12 ) was named a national blue ribbon school in 2017.
The first school built by Bossier Parish School Board was Benton High School in 1890. By 1905 It had three teachers and one graduating class. The school taught grades 6–12 with no more than 25 students per grade, with some grades missing students.
Legacy Christian Academy's campus is located on Home Avenue (US Route 68) on the southern end of the city of Xenia. The school moved to its present location in 1999. It had previously been in a building on Bellbrook Avenue in Xenia, west of the current location. The elementary was located in nearby Emmanuel Baptist Church.
