The Egyptian Second Division (Arabic: دوري القسم الثاني المصري) was an Egyptian semi-professional football league representing the second tier of the Egyptian football league system until 2023.
The 2022–23 Egyptian Second Division was the 43rd and last edition of the Egyptian Second Division, the top Egyptian semi-professional level for football clubs, since its establishment in 1977. It succeeded the old Egyptian Second Division, which was abolished and replaced with the new Second Division A and Second Division B as the new second and third-tier leagues, respectively, with the latter retaining the format used by the abolished league. The structure of the football league system in Egypt was changed ahead of the start of the 2023–24 season.
