Victoria Aveyard (born July 27, 1990) is an American writer of young adult and fantasy fiction and screenplays. [1] She is known for her fantasy novel Red Queen . [ 2 ] Aveyard wrote the novel a year after graduating from University of Southern California 's screenwriting program in 2012.
