Green Valley Raceway was a 1.600 mi (2.575 km) permanent road course, whilst the start-finish straight was also used as a drag strip. [4] In 1966, the original layout was changed to 2.100 mi (3.380 km). [2] The road course was used for Trans-Am Series races, SCCA races, [4] and it also held a Can-Am race in 1984. [5]
Farm to Market Road 1765 (FM 1765) is located in Galveston County. It runs from FM 2004 in La Marque to Loop 197 in Texas City. The road is known locally as Texas Avenue. FM 1765 was designated on May 23, 1951, from SH 6 west of Hitchcock north and east to the then-old route of US 75 (now SH 3).

The FM 812 designation was first used on August 26, 1948 for the road segment between SH 29 (along the current US 183 alignment) and Elroy. FM 812 was gradually extended southeast, to SH 21 on October 28, 1953, to 7.0 miles (11.3 km) southeast on May 2, 1962, and to its current terminus near Red Rock on May 6, 1964.
