In 1928, Peabody Elementary School was built in San Roque in response to population growth, and in 1937 the parochial San Roque School was established. Between 1945 and 1970, residential development filled in the remaining unbuilt lots, and commercial development spread along State St. bordering San Roque. [3]

San Roque is a town and municipality in the Colombian department of Antioquia. Part of the subregion of Northeastern Antioquia , it is located 1,475 m (4,839 ft) above sea level. The municipality was founded by Francisco Martinez de Ospina on the 8 February 1880.

US Post Office—Springville is a historic post office building located at Springville in Erie County, New York. It was designed and built in 1936–1937, and is one of a number of post offices in New York State designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department under Louis A. Simon .
Only two other post offices in the state, at Frankfort and Middleport, built around the same time, use the same design. The Westhampton Beach post office on Long Island, also built in 1940, is also very similar. All of them show the influence of another Long Island post office, in Rockville Centre, built in 1937. [3]
The first post office in the Nyacks was established as part of a store at a landing now in Upper Nyack, in 1835. When the Erie Railroad was completed through the area in 1870, it was put within commuting distance of New York City, and grew as residents who had previously come for the summer built large houses overlooking the Hudson River to the east and lived there year-round.
NY Route 446 runs parallel to the Southern Tier Expressway. NY Route 305 is an important north-south trunk road passing through the village. Cuba is located on the Main Line of the Western New York and Pennsylvania Railroad. North Cuba and South Cuba are small communities respectively north and south of the village on Route 305.
