Ena de Silva (née Aluwihare) (22 October 1922 – 29 October 2015) was a notable Sri Lankan artist, [1] [2] credited with re-establishing the country's batik industry. [3] She was renowned for her skillsets in the design of batiks and handicrafts and played a pivotal role in reviving the arts and crafts in Sri Lanka.

The finest example for Sri Lankan ivory carving are the ivory carvings at the door-frame of Ridi Viharaya, Kurunegala. Delicately carved panchnāri ghataya motif and two dancer images can be seen here. There is a gajasinha carving at the corridor of the temple. Sri Bakta Hanuman Temple Ramboda Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple was built by the Chinmaya Mission of Sri Lanka. The 16 foot idol of Shri Hanuman is made of black granite. The temple itself is situated about 500m from the main road on a hill having a commanding view of the surrounding area.
