Certain scenes were filmed on location at Camp Wanakita and Kilcoo Camp for the Disney Channel original movie, Camp Rock. Camp White Pine was the location of the 1979 Canadian comedy film Meatballs. The 2011 cast reunion was held at nearby Camp Timberlane Canada, which was intended to be the original shooting location of the film.
