Mark Teague was born in 1963. He grew up in San Diego, California, and went to college at the Paier College of Art in Connecticut in 1985. [1] When he was a child, he started writing books before he could even write. His mother would write the words for him. In interviews Mr. Teague says writing still feels like play to him.
