This WikiProject provides a central location for infobox designers and maintainers to assist each other in their work. Many different people are working on infoboxes, and occasionally need the input of others in order to get something to work—or some designers may simply be unfamiliar with certain tricks and features.

A combination may even appear on the page as a single infobox. For example, if the WikiProject Saints group wanted to design a template based on their static infobox, they could use Template:Infobox Biography, and design a project-specific template with only additional information, and the pages would render both "stacked" together.
Requests to delete an infobox should be brought to the attention of Wikipedia:Templates for discussion and any WikiProjects associated with the infobox. The WikiProject associated with the subject can usually be found at the top of the talk page of the article. A template may be merged with another rather than deleted outright.
