Linda Ann Bellos OBE (born 13 December 1950) [1] is a British businesswoman, radical feminist and gay-rights activist. In 1981 she became the first woman of African descent to join the Spare Rib collective.
The latter included Black Sections vice-chair Linda Bellos, who was leader of Lambeth council from 1986 to 1988; Black Sections supporter and leader of Brent council, Merle Amory. In 1983, Amory was elected deputy leader.
