The Nhật Tân Bridge (or Vietnam–Japan Friendship Bridge) is a cable-stayed bridge crossing the Red River in Hanoi, inaugurated on 4 January 2015. In 1897, French engineering company Schneider, Cie, and Letellier team was assigned by the French Resident Superior in Central Vietnam to design and build the bridge.
