The Skating Club of New York is a figure skating club in New York City. It was founded in 1863 and is the second oldest skating club in the United States. It was one of the founding members of the United States Figure Skating Association.
At the time of his death, in 1961, he was the president of the Skating Club of New York and the U.S. Figure Skating dance committee chairman. [1] He attended Princeton University. The Hartshorne Estate at 80 Oakes Road, Little Silver, New Jersey is on the list of Monmouth County Historic Sites. [2]
