The funeral homes sued Tri-State and Marsh, eventually settling first for $36 million with the plaintiff's class in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Ultimately, the Marsh defendants also settled for $3.5 million after their insurer, Georgia Farm Bureau, agreed to pay the settlement.
Thomasville is a city in Davidson County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 27,183 at the 2020 census. [4] The city was once notable for its furniture industry, as were its neighbors High Point and Lexington. This Piedmont Triad community was established in 1852 and hosts the state's oldest festival, "Everybody's Day".
After learning about James Rogers McConnell, a North Carolina pilot killed in World War I, Gilliam was motivated to establish the museum in Fall 2013. [3] [4] It opened ten years later on 23 September 2023. [5] [6] The museum received a donation of over 2,500 model airplanes in 2019. [7]
