Lagniappe is a compilation album released by the Omaha-based record label Saddle Creek, after the events of Hurricane Katrina. It is a benefit album, and all profits from its sale are donated to the Red Cross' relief efforts in New Orleans. The album is composed of mostly impromptu recordings, thrown together for this purpose.
It was released by Saddle Creek Records on June 5, 2012 and produced by Richard Swift. [2] The album's title was inspired by Richard Avedon's photograph "Generals of the Daughters of the American Revolution". [2]

The album was released on April 15, 2013, on Saddle Creek Records. It was produced by John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth) in Hoboken, New Jersey. Agnello and The Thermals completed the record and evacuated the studio just hours before Hurricane Sandy ravaged New Jersey. [1] The title came from The Art of War by Sun Tzu. [2]

Domestica is a concept album that tells the story of a relationship between two characters named "Sweetie" and "Pretty Baby." Both characters are mentioned by name in several of the songs on the album ("The Casualty," "The Martyr," "A Red So Deep," and "The Radiator Hums") as well as the title of "The Lament of Pretty Baby."
