The 2020–21 season is Bangkok United Football Club's 12th in the new era since they took over from Bangkok University Football Club in 2009. It is the 5th season in the Thai League and the club's 10th (8th consecutive) season in the top flight of the Thai football league system since returning in the 2013 season.
Bangkok United ended up the 2023–24 season in second place with 61 points where the club won the 2023–24 Thai FA Cup in a penalties shootout against Dragon Pathumwan Kanchanaburi. Bangkok United then qualified to the 2024–25 AFC Champions League Elite qualifying play-offs facing against Chinese club Shandong Taishan on 13 August

The 2021–22 season is Bangkok United Football Club's 13th in the new era since they took over from Bangkok University Football Club in 2009. It is the 6th season in the Thai League and the club's 11th (8th consecutive) season in the top flight of the Thai football league system since returning in the 2013 season.
The 2020–21 Thai League 2 is the 23nd season of the Thai League 2, the second-tier professional league for Thailand's association football clubs, since its establishment in 1997, also known as M-150 Championship due to the sponsorship deal with M-150. A total of 18 teams will compete in the league.
