The Station Road on which it stands is the "lower" section, beneath today's B5192 "upper" Station Road, [2] which passes Kirkham and Wesham railway station. Originally a railway hotel, later a public house, it is built in brick on a stone plinth with stone dressings and a slate roof. It is in two storeys and has a three-bay front.
Burlingtons Bar is under the Town House public house in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. The conurbation of Lytham St Annes is served by three stations: Lytham, Ansdell and Fairhaven (adjacent to the Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club) and St Annes. Northern runs trains from here to Blackpool South and to Kirkham, Preston and Colne once an hour all week (including Sundays); [1] these services are much less frequent than those to Blackpool North.

Historically the "Wrangway Brook", beside which the railway was laid, has always been the boundary between Kirkham and Wesham, and the station buildings are all situated in Kirkham. Two tracks were built on the northern side of the line for a platform planned but never built due to the outbreak of World War II .
