An equianalgesic chart is a conversion chart that lists equivalent doses of analgesics (drugs used to relieve pain). Equianalgesic charts are used for calculation of an equivalent dose (a dose which would offer an equal amount of analgesia) between different analgesics. [1]
Acepromazine, acetopromazine, or acetylpromazine (commonly known as ACP, Ace, or by the trade names Atravet or Acezine 2, number depending on mg/ml dose) is a phenothiazine derivative antipsychotic drug. It was used in humans during the 1950s as an antipsychotic, [4] but is now almost exclusively used on animals as a sedative and antiemetic.
The veterinary use of chlorpromazine has generally been superseded by the use of acepromazine. [72] Chlorpromazine may be used as an antiemetic in dogs and cats, or, less often, as a sedative before anesthesia. [73] In horses, it often causes ataxia and lethargy and is therefore seldom used. [72] [73]
Promazine (brand name Sparine among others), [2] is used as a short-term add-on treatment for psychomotor agitation. [3] [4] Its approved uses in people is limited, but is used as a tranquilizer in veterinary medicine. [3]

Trazodone is usually used at a dosage of 150 to 300 mg/day for the treatment of depression. [ 17 ] [ 13 ] Lower doses have also been used to augment other antidepressants or when initiating therapy. [ 17 ] [ 13 ] Higher doses, up to 600 mg/day, have been used in more severe cases of depression (in hospitalized patients, for example). [ 29 ]
Aceprometazine is a phenothiazine derivative prescription drug with neuroleptic and anti-histamine properties It is not widely prescribed, and may be associated with drug-induced Parkinsonism. [1]
