The Monterey Country Club, which was built before 1885, is home to one of the oldest golf courses in the United States. The club sits just below the peaks of 1,720 Mt. Dunlap and 1,365 Monterey Peak in Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania and is less than one mile (1.6 km) from the Mason–Dixon line and about 8 miles (13 km) away from Camp David .
The highway elevation at Blue Ridge Summit is 1,330 feet (410 m), compared to elevations of 500 and 700 feet (150 and 210 m) east and west of the mountain, respectively. Mount Dunlop, overlooking Blue Ridge Summit to the west, rises to a summit of 1,700 feet (520 m). Monterey Pass is northwest and slightly downhill from the community along PA 16.

Blue Top Ridge Golf Course is a golf course in Riverside, Iowa. The course is part of the Riverside Casino and Resort. It was designed by golf course architect Rees Jones and completed in 2007. Blue Top Ridge is an 18-hole facility with par 72 spanning over 7400 yards.

This course was built farther west of the White Course and was operated from a separate location off West College Avenue. The 3rd Hole of the Blue Course ran next to and parallel to the 13th hole of the White Course. The Blue Course became the home course for all intercollegiate golf competitions at Penn State, primarily because of its length.
