Ragged Mountain is a ski resort located on the northern side of Ragged Mountain in Danbury, New Hampshire, in the United States, with a vertical drop of 1,250 feet (380 m) and spread across 250 acres (100 ha). Offering three terrain parks and many glades, the resort is home to the only six-person chairlift in New Hampshire. [1]
Crotched Mountain Ski & Ride is a medium-sized ski area located on Crotched Mountain in Bennington and Francestown, New Hampshire. The ski area reopened in 2003 after having been closed for 13 years. Crotched Mountain is 30 miles (48 km) east of Keene, 26 miles (42 km) west of Manchester, and 77 miles (124 km) northwest of Boston.
Cannon has 23 miles (37 km) of trails and a north-northeast exposure and has the only aerial tram in New Hampshire. Cannon used to have the most vertical of any ski area in New Hampshire, 2,180 feet (660 m), [citation needed] and is the eighth largest in New England. US Olympic skier Bode Miller grew up skiing at Cannon.
