Midway on High, also known as Midway Bar and Restaurant or simply Midway, is a bar located in Columbus, Ohio, adjacent to the main campus of Ohio State University. Directly across the street from the Ohio Union , the High Street bar has been open since 2012 and since its opening has been owned by local firm A&R Creative.

Max & Erma's is an American casual dining restaurant chain based in Columbus, Ohio. As of April 2024, the company operates seven locations in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, down from a peak of 110 restaurants across more than 12 states in the mid-2000s. [1] It was founded in 1972 by Todd Barnum and Barry Zacks.
In 1997, the restaurant was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. At the time, it was the only tiki restaurant in Ohio, and the only remaining supper club in Columbus. [3] It closed on August 26, 2000 due to prohibitively high maintenance costs and a significant loss of business, and so the property was sold to Walgreens.
The former location in Columbus, Ohio, which opened in 1978, was the largest both in seating capacity and in sales. The original Columbus location seated approximately 800 people. Spaghetti Warehouse, Inc., was acquired in 1998 by Consolidated Restaurant Cos. (a holding company of the private equity firm Cracken, Harkey & Co. L.L.C.). [1]
