In May 2024, Karina appeared in KBS's variety music programme Synchro U as a cast member, [22] where she won the Rookie Award – Show and Variety Category at the 2024 KBS Entertainment Awards. On February 19, 2024, Aespa officially announced their second world tour, Synk: Parallel Line, via X and Weverse, with the first stop scheduled in Seoul on June 29 and 30, 2024. [2] During their first stop in Seoul, the members unveiled solo performances featuring new, unreleased tracks. Each member participated in writing their solo songs.
The lead single "Savage" also became Aespa's second top-five hit in South Korea and their first top 40 entry on the Billboard Global 200. In July 2022, they released their second EP Girls , which sold 1,844,376 copies and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart.
The song won eight music show awards including three non-consecutive wins on Inkigayo that led to receiving the "triple crown" award. Savage debuted atop the Gaon Album Chart and also marked Aespa's first entry on the US Billboard 200 at number 20, making Aespa the highest charting K-pop rookie girl group to appear on the latter chart.

Rolling Stone India's publisher, Debashree Dutta praised Aespa's "vivid story" and the album's "poetic landscapes" which she described as "a varied and profound auditory experience" filled with "sentiments, moods, and instances woven into each song". [22]
