The City of Southfield offers a variety of programs for seniors that will help you stay active. Programs are offered at many sites throughout the city and include bounce volleyball, tennis, softball, chair exercise, golf, tai chi, water exercise, and line dancing.
Through the Senior Recreation Center for those ages 50 and older; and a free, bimonthly publication, The Southfield Scribe, Southfield keeps in touch with its active senior adults. For the homebound, Southfield provides several helpful options, such as the CHORE program and TOSS.
