The team also qualified for the American Nationals in Chicago after qualifying at a tournament after playing against some of the top teams in Ontario. The team finished as the provincial runner-up and qualified for the Nationals, becoming the first team from Halton to do so. The team's captain was named one of the four National Finals MVP's. [7]
