Kudumbasametham is a 1992 Malayalam film written by Kaloor Dennis and directed by Jayaraj. The film was produced by Mumthaz Basheer under the banner of Simple Productions. It stars Manoj K. Jayan, Madhu, Monisha and Kaviyoor Ponnamma in the lead roles. This film won the 1992 Kerala State Film Award for Best Screenplay

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is the soundtrack album, composed by A. R. Rahman with song lyrics by Vairamuthu to the 2018 Tamil film of the same name. The film is directed by Mani Ratnam. The album consist of seven songs out of which "Mazhai Kuruvi" and "Bhoomi Bhoomi" served as the lead singles. Composition of the soundtrack began in December 2017.
She has recorded songs for film music and albums in all the four South Indian languages namely, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada along with the Hindi language and has established herself as a leading playback singer of South Indian cinema. Some of her inspirations are Sujatha Mohan (her mother), Shreya Ghoshal, Alka Yagnik and K.S. Chitra [1]
Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri was born as the eldest son of Keshavan Namboothiri (popularly known as Kannadi Bhagavathar, a disciple of Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar) and Aditi Antharjanam in Kaithapram village in Payyanur Taluk of Kannur district of Kerala, on 4 August 1950 [3] and he is currently residing in Thiruvannur in Kozhikode District.
In addition, he has recorded songs for films most notably under the music direction of Premasiri Khemadasa. [9] After the birth of his daughter, he started a song concert called 'Anuradha' in 1982. [9] Malkanthi Nandasiri also sang with him at the concert. [24] In 1998, he started a formal education center 'Gandhari' to teach music. [4]

Jayaratne studied at prestigious St.Anthony's College, Kandy and Maliyadeva College in Kurunegala. [1] He was drawn into singing by the head of the Folk and Research unit at the Broadcasting Corporation C.J.S. Kulathilaka who asked him to vocalise several Sinhala folk songs that included "Gana Thel Sadun" to be broadcast over the radio. [3]
