The railroad of The Galveston, Harrisburg and San Antonio Railway Company, herein called the Galveston, Harrisburg and San Antonio, is a standard-gage, steam railroad, located in southwestern Texas. The railroad is single track with the exception of 26.604 miles of second main track near San Antonio and El Paso.
This company constructed a railroad from Westwego, to Bayou Goula, about 67 miles. Its property, rights, and franchises were sold on July 15, 1879, to Morgan's Louisiana and Texas Railroad and Steamship Company. The consideration for the sale of the property is not known.
