The towers were built from 1979 to 1984 originally to house a hotel for the Hyatt Hotel Group. The buildings were already under construction when Hyatt cancelled its plans and Deutsche Bank decided to locate its headquarters there. The complex consists of three parts: a four-storey base building and the two towers.
