They are members of the South Division of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball , a "partner league" of Major League Baseball .
The High Point Panthers baseball team represents High Point University, which is located in High Point, North Carolina. The Panthers are an NCAA Division I college baseball program that competes in the Big South Conference. They began competing in Division I in 2000 and joined the Big South Conference the same season.

On June 6, 2023, Weiss signed with the High Point Rockers of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. [20] He made 9 starts for the Rockers, posting a 5–3 record and 4.61 ERA with 52 strikeouts in 54 + 2 ⁄ 3 innings pitched. On July 29, Weiss was released by High Point. [21]
