The Somali Region (Somali: Deegaanka Soomaalida, Amharic: ሱማሌ ክልል, romanized: Sumalē Kilil, Oromo: Naannoo somaalee, Arabic: المنطقة الصومالية), also known as Soomaali Galbeed (lit. ' Western Somalia ') [3] and officially the Somali Regional State, is a regional state in eastern Ethiopia.
