The W. P. Carey School of Business is the business school of Arizona State University and is one of the largest business schools in the United States, with over 300 faculty, and more than 1,582 graduate and 15,077 undergraduate students (2019-2020 enrollment).
The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering (often abbreviated to the Fulton Schools) is the engineering college of Arizona State University.The Fulton Schools offers 27 undergraduate and more than 50 graduate degree programs in all major engineering disciplines, construction, computer science and several engineering technology degrees.
It was founded in 1946 as an independent, private institution and acquired by Arizona State University in 2014. The school moved to ASU's Downtown Phoenix campus in 2018. [2] The campus built a new $75 million building for the school in 2021. Thunderbird is a unit of the Arizona State University Enterprise.
Within these divisions are over 50 research centers and institutes. The College offers 100+ undergraduate majors and 150+ graduate degrees. As of fall 2022, The College's total student enrollment was 31,501. [2] As of fall 2022, The College's first-year retention rate was 86%.
The Cronkite School began as the Division of Journalism under the ASU's English Department in 1949, 18 years after ASU began to offer journalism courses to its students, in 1931. [1] The school began to expand in 1954, when radio and television journalism courses were made available. [ 1 ]
New College is located on ASU's West Valley campus. The college resembles a traditional liberal arts and science college, but with an interdisciplinary focus, in which faculty are grouped into broad divisions rather than discipline-specific departments. [ 1 ]
The school was previously located in Armstrong Hall, adjacent to the Ross-Blakley Law Library on ASU's Tempe campus. In 2012, the school announced plans to relocate to Arizona State University Downtown Phoenix campus. [4] The first classes held in the new building, the Beus Center for Law and Society, were in the fall semester of 2016. [5]
