The Provincial Council of Overijssel (Dutch: Staten van Overijssel, pronounced [ˈstaːtə(ɱ) vɑn ˌoːvərˈɛisəl]) is the provincial council for the Dutch province of Overijssel. It forms the legislative body of the province. Its 47 seats are distributed every four years in provincial elections.
All positions in a provincial council become simultaneously vacant for elections held on a five-year cycle. If a vacancy arises at another time, due to death or resignation, then an electoral district vacancy may be filled by the second highest scoring candidate in the last election from that electoral district.

It was created by the South Africa Act 1909 , from the formation of the Union of South Africa on 31 May 1910, and replaced the Transvaal Legislative Assembly which had been created through self-government in 1907.
