Pulaski County Motorsports Park (formerly Pulaski County Speedway, New River Valley Speedway, then Motor Mile Speedway) is a 0.416 mi (0.669 km) paved oval racetrack in Fairlawn, Pulaski County, Virginia. It was purchased by Shelor Automotive Group in 2004 and was subsequently renamed Motor Mile Speedway.

The Music City Grand Prix, known as the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix for sponsorship reasons, was an IndyCar Series race held at the Nashville Street Circuit in Nashville, Tennessee. The race's most notable feature was its 3,578 ft (1,091 m) straightaway across the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge , which spans the Cumberland River .

Riverhead Raceway is a 0.250 mi (0.402 km) oval race track with a Figure 8 course, [2] located in Riverhead, New York. [1] It is the only auto racing venue on Long Island since Westhampton Raceway closed down in 2003. [3] It started being built in 1949 [1] and opened as a dirt track in 1951, before permanently changing to asphalt in 1955. [2]
The race also featured a purse of $7500, the largest in the region at that time. [2] [3] In 1977, under new track promoters Jerry Lawrence and Ron King, Riverside hosted its first 250 lap race, a staple that soon became an annual tradition. [4] Chisholm sold the track to local resident Erik Edward Vandaalen in 1989.
