The Electronic Staff Record or ESR is an Oracle-based human resources and payroll database system currently used by 586 units of the National Health Service (NHS) in England and Wales to manage the payroll for 1.2 million NHS staff members. The Apprenticeship Ambassadors Network is an employer-led body sponsored by the Skills Funding Agency in England. Its remit is to encourage more employers to become involved in apprenticeships in England. The Network is the successor body to the Apprenticeship Task Force established by the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
