"Dragostea din tei" [A] (pronounced [ˈdraɡoste̯a din ˈtej] ⓘ; Romanian: "Love From the Linden Tree" [15]) is a song recorded by Moldovan group O-Zone, released around July 2003 in Romania by Media Services as the lead single from their third studio album DiscO-Zone (2003).
In 2024, it was announced that O-Zone are going to do a summer tour, but this time as a tribute band, consisting of Arsenie as only singer and two dancers. Worldwide, O-Zone have sold over 12 million copies of "Dragostea din tei" and over 2.5 million copies of its parent album DiscO-Zone. [5]

Guetta and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder built the song based on the melody of "Dragostea Din Tei" by the Moldovan Eurodance group O-Zone, [1] along with Michael Pollack, Aldae, Brent Kutzle, Jakke Erixson, Josh Varnadore, Tyler Spry and Timofey Reznikov, while Guetta, Kutzle, Spry, Erixson and Renizkov produced it.

Dan Bălan [a] (born 6 February 1979) is a Moldovan musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is the founder of Moldovan Eurodance band O-Zone, and wrote their international hit single "Dragostea Din Tei", which topped the charts in 32 countries and sold 12 million copies worldwide.
He was once the youngest member of boyband O-Zone. He now pursues a solo career in Russia and Romania , under the mononym Arsenie or at times the stage name Arsenium .
