The Condors name was announced as the winner on February 25, 2015. [3] The Condors unveiled their new logo and colors on April 2, 2015. It is the primary home arena to the Bakersfield Jr. Condors formerly the Bakersfield Dragons, Kern County Knights, Bakersfield Roughnecks of the USPHL, and Bakersfield Oilers ASHA team. The Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners club hockey team used the facility for practices as well as their secondary home until 2022 when the club was dropped.

The Jr. Condors were members of the Western States Hockey League and played in the Western Division of the WSHL.
