Little Freddie King (born Fread Eugene Martin, [2] [3] July 19, 1940) is an American Delta blues guitarist. Despite the name, his style is not based on that of Freddie King , but is more influenced by John Lee Hooker and his approach to electric blues is original.
In a 1974 interview published in Living Blues magazine, Delta blues musician Houston Stackhouse stated that when he accompanied Robert Johnson to Spiers' music store in 1936, "he was totin’ his guitar on his shoulder, Gibson guitar what he had done been having".
