Completed Tornado Diagram. Tornado diagrams, also called tornado plots, tornado charts or butterfly charts, are a special type of Bar chart, where the data categories are listed vertically instead of the standard horizontal presentation, and the categories are ordered so that the largest bar appears at the top of the chart, the second largest appears second from the top, and so on.
This is a list of mesoscale discussions concerning specific ongoing tornadoes. Convective mesoscale discussions are issued by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Storm Prediction Center based on the National Weather Center in Norman, Oklahoma.

Outbreak produced the Candlestick Park tornado, which was an extremely violent F5 tornado or tornado family that killed 58 people and traveled 202.5 mi (325.9 km) across Mississippi and Alabama. It is one of the longest such paths on record and one of only four official F5 tornadoes to hit Mississippi.
